I cant explain it but heres a link with a video showing how it works. From my understanding it takes the force off the rear shock when breaking but whatever heres the link... http://www.konaworld.com/dope.htm

Hey, its a great bike. I ride mostly FR because there are not alot of hills around here. The bike is very nimble and easy to get speed. I have a drop-off on it now and i am thinking about upgrading to a different fork. But even stock parts it runs fine. I highly recommend It. I am also thinking about adding the D.O.P.E system as the 07 Stinky comes "Dope Ready". Bottom line is that its a high quality Canadian made bike that can handle any kind of riding you throw at it.

You are right :=)

ETA 55 fork. I can be a pretentious bitch and to make the bike look like a million EUR I needed a black fork with sufficient good spec. Then it could only be the ETA 55.

Hey - have a great weekend!

The Bottle is for FR and AM. It is equipped with a dual ring, but with a 36 T on the large sprocket - so I have enoguh gearing to use my pedals to and from the mountain as well :=)

snake-dj wrote
September 4, 2008 at 9:13
Yeah they are really good value for the money (£54.99 is where i found them cheapest)They are quite a tight squeeze to get in, compared to my old helmet but they do fit very snugly. Maybe if you dont crash a lot and had some dosh to spend you could go for the higher class ones, Troy lee maybe?
